Having graduated in August, I twisted my knee on one of my consolidation runs, meaning I haven’t run since the last week of August.
All the weight I lost has been put back on, and therefore I intend on starting back from the beginning. I hope I’ll still have some benefit from completing last years program, but know the first few runs will hurt!
Wish me luck!
See you at the finish line.

I was in a similar situation at the end of August. In my case a twisted ankle. I was only out a month but was recommended to restart with something even less stressful than W1R1. I did a fair bit of walking before I was allowed to run. I then did very short intervals of 20s run/40s walk to start with.
Same here! Have completed C25K twice before and damaged an ankle after each time (and consolidated my ability to create excuses...) Hoping for third attempt with no drama - W1R1 felt ok, looks like I have remembered how to breathe at least - rather embarrassed about aches this morning though😕Good luck with your next outing!
Well done I am on week 2 of couch 25k after a broken ankle in May. So far so good but keep going. The physio has advised strength and balance too but no gyms currently so 30 days of yoga on you tube with adriene. Good luck it feels great to be back to running it gives such hope in grim times 👍🏃♀️
