A few days after my graduation I went out for an early morning run, without "Laura".Not a great start as was cold, damp and generally miserable. My music which I thought I had downloaded hadn't , wasn't really feeling it but off I went. Only managed 26 minutes and felt tired.
I'm so disappointed, I know it could be worse, but no running for me for a little while. Really hope I get the energy to get back out there really soon π€π»

Really sorry to hear this, I'm on the IC at mom and know how frustrated you must be feeling. Take very good care of yourself...running will be waiting for us π once we're back to full health. All the very best and big hugs.πππ
No, I haven't swim63, thankfully. I was feeling sorry for myself because I haven't run for 2 weeks, not long after graduation, so I really do get where you're coming from. Got my act together now and feeling grateful I haven't had Covid because I'm 65 and health effects can be quite lethal on us not so young uns. I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and don't know your age, just want you to be healthy enough not to suffer unnecessarily. Take good care of yourself. The running bug can be so addictive, a healthy addictionπ....it will wait for us once we're back in good health. πππ
Thank you so much for your kind words. Iβm so pleased you havenβt got Covid! Iβm 63 and have been really nervous about getting it. Iβm mostly just feeling tired and quite weak, hopefully this is as bad as it will get. Just hoping I donβt get any long term effects from it.
Think itβs going to be hard to get back into the running but plan to just take it slowly and short runβs. Hope you find your enthusiasm to get back out there really soon! It would be such a shame for us to give up after all that hard work!
Oh bless you...you must be quite fit and healthy from the sound of your symptoms... despite how debilitating they are. Your running journey has built up your health to help you combat Covid. How worried you must have been. It is a blow not to be out there. Please keep posting or leave me a personal message if you're struggling. Once you're fighting fit again we can virtually run together π. I've just been keeping up my walking since I stopped running. Think I need another week (maybe more) before contemplating donning them trainers again. You'll get back out there, I'm sureπππ. ππ
Thank you so much. Itβs all a bit scary, we have got so many more cases now in Chelmsford/Essex compared to just a few weeks ago. Virtual run sounds perfect ππ
I am so sorry to hear....but please take care of yourself. I recently had Covid and have been out of action for 3 weeks now. Yes a little worried about fitness and missing runs but your health is so important...potentially your runs have increased fitness so you will cope with the virus better than you would have.
Just rest, take care and get yourself well again we can pick running up when we are 100% ....our health is more important
Oh, so sorry to hear that. Really hope you will be feeling better very soon. Iβm just resting/being very lazy! Iβve been so scared of this virus and still canβt quite believe I have it! Just so thankful Iβm at home and not in hospital π€
Sorry to hear your not well. You will bounce back, be patient, take time to recover properly. Iβm sure I had a strain of it as I had to stop C25k and go back a few weeks, but your strength and fitness will return. Hope you feel better soon.
