W5R2 with birds singing😁

In the first few minutes of the run Ive questioned all my abilities and convinced myself that i most likely gave myself a knee injury after feeling a slight twinge, then thought there is no way i can complete the run as 8 min is miles away from 5min previous run, then started thinking how the hell did i even manage to do 5min on the previous run in the first place, i thought i will need to stop in the next few seconds, then got distracted by the birds singing like they were having a party & then it was the end of the 1st 8min run😂, did the 5min walk and ended up singing through the 2nd 8min run, love it again🏃‍♀️😆

😂 I have recruited all birds as my cheerleaders. Just seeing one counts. I often speak out loud to them too, to say hello and thank them for their support. Something good happens. It works for me!

I'm with you on that one! Can't stop grinning still after this run, felt like in a Disney movie with all the birds! 😂

I’ll never get that image out of my mind now.😂🤣 Brilliant. The lol works wonders too. No idea what it is, but talking, singing, laughing all bring positive running vibes.

Yay!!! That sounds perfect...I bet the birds were singing just for you?!!! Never overthink a run...just lace up and do it 😜

Absolutely!🤣 Great advice Mummycav!! It makes me laugh how quickly the perception of bad/good run changes while you are out there putting one foot in front of the other

Totally agree. If you can harness those positive perceptions (however daft the technique) it really helps make a run a fab experience.
