Ok i'm over my funk...

I had a really bad last run on C25k. I did it but it really put me off. So I'm proud of myself for picking myself up and doing my first consolidation run today- a pb of 4km in 30min 22 sec. it just clicked today, legs felt good, mind in the right place.

Planning on doing 4k for a few more then using 10% rule to get to 5k in 40 mins.

I've worked out going forward I really need to vary my pace, might start looking into fartlek training as this seems naturally what my body wants to do, and I think I'm getting fit enough to do some sprints and then be able to continue slow jogging rather than walking to recover.

Why was your last run bad and how did you motivate yourself to try again? Since it happens to everyone it would be good to know what kept you going for when it happens to me! Also, what’s the 10% rule?

Well done for keeping at it

As you gain in experience you will learn that bad runs happen. Equally great runs happen too A bad run today, doesn't mean a bad run next time you are out. This is all part of the joy of running. Variety is the spice of life after all 😀
