But I went anyway - the paths were all slushy so not slippery, but my shoes and socks got soaked through
I wore a lightweight jacket over a long-sleeved top, with tracksuit trousers, woolly hat and gloves and was too hot by the end! And I saw only 1 other person jogging, as well as a few dog walkers and cyclists!

Oh the joys of squishy feet in trainers swissfish, get the newspaper in them , they'll be as good as new, no where near a radiator though please, it melts the glue!!
That running layering overheating it's a nightmare, we've got to remember we warm up so much when running!
You remind me that I should start looking for waterproof running shoes! Last Saturday I went running in the morning and I thought to cross through the grass. That was a big no, after just 5 meters my feet were soaked through. Made a quick beeline to the concrete again and had to run with soppy socks the whole time. No fun! So I think I'll be looking for waterproof running shoes soon, seen the weather won't be all nice and happy the coming months
And well done for going despite the weather! That's the true spirit!!
