Hi everyone

First time of posting and Iโ€™ve hit a mental block with W5R3 which Iโ€™m doing later today.๐Ÿ˜ง How have others found it? 20 solid minutes of running seems such a jump from two runs of 8 minutes! Any tips?! I need to have a word with myself I think!!

In a word Fleur1307 you know you can do this ๐Ÿ‘ you're already running good distances, slow it down if needed, get your breathing relaxed and off you go, don't set off at a pace that will catch you out and leave you wanting ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't dwell on it.

You've been prepared for it by the previous runs. Your previous session was longer, at 21 minutes.

In fact, W5R3 is shorter than any session you've done since Week 3.

Hi Fleur,

Itโ€™s daunting if you think about it too much - I remember feeling like that - just see it as the next step and head out there as usual and nail it as you always do - slow as you like - trust the programme - it works!

Thanks so much - Iโ€™m heading out now to face it rather than have it hanging over me! Iโ€™ll report back! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

Don't panic, keep running (no matter how slowly) and believe your going to do it.

Good luck and you will feel amazing once you complete it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

W5R3 in the bag!! So pleased to have done it - you were all right, just do it and donโ€™t overthink it. Sarah Millican was great encouragement as were your words of wisdom. Off for a shower feeling very pleased with myself! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
