Hood or no hood? 🤔

Hello! Am going to order myself a swanky running jacket, do I need one with a hood or would that annoy me? Just a baseball cap for the rain or what? Thanks! X

There is no way I could run in a hood! - But I guess it’s personal choice. I use a baseball style running cap- great for keeping rain off my glasses. 😄

Hi Tendance, I run with a baseball cap but i have got a waterproof running jacket with a hood. The reason I got the hood was to protect my earphones when its raining. If your not worried about those then I would maybe go without because it can flap around when not up.

If you live where it's cold you might like a hood. I put it on in the winter and wrap a scarf around my neck to keep it in place. I only wear a visor style cap in the summer. If you don't get a hood - get a head band to wrap around your ears in the winter because the ball cap won't keep them warm enough. Get a real swanky jacket! Have fun with it!

I have a hood on my new jacket and have ran in a hoodie on occasion, I'd say better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it 👍🏻

My jacket has a hood, this is the first year I've worn it up, it got pretty chilly here a couple of weeks ago, and I was glad of it, but most running jackets have hoods that fold up into the collar, so you can have the best of both worlds.
