After many failed attempts I’ve finally broken past week 6. Today should be my final run of week 7. I’m really struggling with these runs. Does it ever feel better? 🤣

Well done, you are getting stronger with each run.

If you are struggling, just slow down.

Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

I feel as if I’m going pretty slowly, but today felt better. I’ve had two ‘rest’ days. So now onto week 8 ....

Yes! Run slowly! Run slowly and you get progressively stronger 🙂👍

Yes, it does, as you will notice for yourself over the next two weeks. If you're finding it hard, do find ways of slowing down your running.

C25K is a crash course. When you complete you'll have only done a little over 8 hours of running.

This is why we encourage new graduates to consolidate by continuing to run for 30 minutes for a few weeks after graduation: to continue to build up strength and stamina before they move on to longer times/distances.
