Week 9 run 1 was on Monday by now I should have graduated but it was not to be this week, I had the longest gap between runs since I started - life got in the way again!

I was so frustrated by the delay but today I set out into the blustery weather with the gorgeous Bertie dog in tow across the Suffolk country side. But after a while there was a problem I couldn’t hear Laura’s reassuring voice?! Looked at the app it was paused.....aaaaaaagh! Luckily I had the map my run app running along side so just had to go with that, was a bit weird but managed it ( I did miss Laura though!)

I have to say today about 7-10 minutes in I thought f***k this, today will be the first run I don’t complete but somehow I plodded on and further in started to feel more relaxed and here we are week 9 run 2 done ✅

So all going well should graduate on Monday...very excited 😆 🤪🤩🥳

That was a reasonable 30 minutes R2W9 run for you, just plodded on and completed it, well done, good luck for your graduation run on Monday, I also use Mapmyrun for all my runs, it's not like Strava which apparently talks back at runners telling them to run faster.

Well done for getting out there - so very close to graduation now! Regarding "not feeling it" in the first 7-10 minutes, it may be explained by the phenomenon of "The Toxic 10" (plenty of entries on here to explain it) to which all we runners fall victim from time to time.

Good luck for W9 R3 - no pressure, but I'll be looking for that "Graduate" award next to your name! 😉.
