So after graduating I have managed to continue my running, albeit slowly, but this Scottish weather today has scuppered me this morning. I got up, and in my mind a little bit of rain wasn’t going to stop me, I actually enjoy running in the rain, but my, this wind and rain this morning is bad, so my question is , what do you wear during the winter months to keep the running up without having to wear layers and layers to keep dry?

I was just about to post the same question! I need a running jacket I can order online, hopefully we get some ideas! Not sure if you have any long sleeved tops yet but I have two Aurique ones which is the Amazon own brand and I love them....
I think that you accept that you will get wet. There are waterproofs out there, but you will sweat like a bugger😬
Admittedly some days the weather will be too awful to run in. I had planned to go this morning but it's torrential, which in itself wouldn't stop me, but that plus the howling wind has stopped me. There may be a gap in the weather later, who knows.
You won't need to layer up to keep dry, but thin layering will keep you toasty, at least once you have got into your run.🤩
Yip it’s definitely the combination of rain and wind that put me off 😕
Well I found a small gap in the weather, decided to go for it. That gap closed within minutes of me leaving the house, so a soaking wet 4 km followed 🌧💨🌬. Still they all count 🤣
