Knees felt okay so off I went - determined to run and determined to go slowly.
I really felt like I wasn’t rushing and I wasn’t any more tired than usual by the time I finished but I, bizarrely, clocked up my second fastest run.
I think I need to sort out a really slow paced playlist OR run without music (not sure I’ll ever manage that) - to try and get back to something slower.
I’ll caveat all of this by stating that my ‘fastest’ is nowhere near the numbers that I see clocked by other members on here - not by a country mile, but I don’t want an injury or fall because I fear that if I stop, I won’t have the grit to start again.
