12 weeks and crossed 5k

Yay! On my 11th consolidation run crossed the 5k marker (5.5k!!). Simply turned off Laura (first time ever), covered my watch and set off to cover a route there and back gently. 45 mins later hey presto. So delighted and taught me that sometimes listening to the time countdown can make you feel more tired than you really are.

Well done on running your first 5K, sometimes it is nice just to run without any coaching, music or timers, we call that in the running world "running naked"

Well done.

It’s good to get the 5k run in the bag, I feel. And 45 minutes is a worthy time. 🙂
