Had to really push myself out of the door after work today as I wasn’t looking forward to it. Last run I did I struggled so much, was a tad worried I might not finish it!
After first 10-15 mins of self doubt and heavy legs I finally settled into a good, slow but steady rhythm and got it done!
3.84k.. not the magic 4 I was hoping for but I’ll take that! 💪🙌🏻
Interestingly, I forgot my earphones so had to run to the sound of my feet - quiet lane and no cars so I counted my footfall and it really helped!! Someone here gave that advice and it worked for me so thank you! 🙏

Nice work! I remember a tough run where measuring my cadence by counting my steps in a minute really helped distract me. Hope the next runs are more enjoyable!
I think it will come in time as we get stronger. Once graduated (hopefully next weekend 🤞) I think 5k will be my goal but can’t imagine I’ll ever be able to achieve it in 30 minutes 😆 I read on here someone said the programme should be renamed C23K 😅 as only a few graduate managing 5K in 30 minutes, so that made me feel much better!! I think just managing to run for 30 minutes is amazing 😊
