Week 6 R1&2

So I can confirm that these runs are much harder than week 5 run 3. But boy do I feel good for doing them!!

Having to stop was really tough in run 1, I was in the swing of it and wanted to continue and that’s what made starting up again so difficult because once I had stopped to walk I didn’t want to start again.

However, run 2 was made easier by the fact that I had to stop after 10mins as it gave me a breather and I was able to run the second 10mins a lot quicker. It is really helping me to gain speed and therefore run further distances. Onwards to run 3....

Keep going everyone, we’ve got this! 👍🏻💪🏻

I'm at almost the same place as you, did W6D1 yesterday and despite finding the 20 min at the end of week 5 ok I found yesterday really quite hard?!

Always take runs 1 and 2 of week 6 especially slowly, run 3 of week 6 is a non stop 25 minute run, once you have completed it you will be very proud of yourself and be officially a runner 🏃🏾.
