Hi everyone think I need your help , it’s been 3 years since I got my c2 5 k badge & been running on & off during all that time . 3 years on & older I need to get bk into running properly ago . About 3 months ago the tiedness & lack of interest to do anything was ridiculous I felt so crap everyday with myself ,so 33 days ago I decided to get bk on the treadmill before I went to work & do about 15 mins & see if my energy for work improved

Well by just doing 17 mins on that first day I felt on cloud 9 amazing. So I get up 4.30 every day just do 2 k 15,30 mins as I have to leave at 5.30 for work & have the energy & feel better within myself . I really want to do 5 k again Should I start the plan right from the beginning? Help Please 😊

Welcome back to the forum.

I recently redid the whole of C25K after nearly a year out with a knee injury. I would recommend anyone to recondition their body to the impact of running in a slow and steady progress and you certainly won't do any harm redoing the whole plan.

We are all capable of doing way more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increasing our injury risk. Sticking to gently progressive training plans is the safest way to push our limits, whilst gently increasing our resistance to injury.
