Welcome to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Running will tone your body but at this level not make you lose weight.

Enjoy your journey.

How long ago were you pregnant? Sometimes it is just a matter of your body needing time, sometimes it's not so much fat as muscles having been rearranged (search for diastasis recti). Running will improve your muscle tone though weight loss is slower because muscle weighs more than fat. Don't forget you will probably need a new sports bra!

Breast feed for as long as possible!!! (It may be a little late for that advice... if so, I apologise!)

Eat sensibly, breastfeed if you can and do your pelvic floor exercises. You will be so grateful in the future! 💦😳
