Late posting, as I had a day out today.
I knew I’d be walking mid morning but my run day was due today also. Should I go or should I stay?
I was a little later up, 7 ish and the sun was shining, I just had to go.
Forgot to start watch!
It was a bit of a hard slog from start to finish...
I felt like the tin man from The Wizard of Oz,
Couldn’t work out why?
Should I have had an extra rest day?
Realised I was battling with the wind, managed to get to 5k but it took me an 2 extra minutes... to 39 minutes, so not pleased as I was hoping to get a bit quicker but, realising the wind had made the difference, ok!
3rd 5k yes ✅ then a walk around the beautiful downs which clocked up another 5k which pleased me also.
All in all if on a bad day I can run 5k, that’s not too shabby 🏃🏻♀️
