WK2R2 - My krptonite. My downfall.

Hey.

Sorry to harp on and for the dramatic title, but my stiff and sore lower left leg is my krptonite and I’m sulking.

I truly believe if my left was as good as my right I’d complete this mountain climb. But with it, I’m doubtful. It’s like when one of the Two Ronnies died. It just didn’t work and they gave up.

I’m using levity but I’m a bit crest-fallen. I really wanted to be a runner. But my psych can’t get past my left leg soreness and tightness.

I suppose life isn’t fair but I’m sulking! But I just wanted to accomplish something.

Would a compression sleeve help?

A compression sleeve or long compression socks might help.

Are you doing any other exercises outside running?

I’m doing stretches intermittently throughout the day but not loads.

I think it might be anterior shin splints

There’s lots here that could cause this, firstly have you read the guide? there are loads of tips in your here that help us all run this programme without getting injured, maybe take a couple of extra rest days to let it calm down.
