Well....I'm glad to see the back of week 7. It's been by far the hardest for me so far. I seem to have slowed down and with one ache or pain after the other I doubted that running was for me. Still with a few aches and pains I completed week 7 (with R2 repeated as i couldn't finish) and can't wait to start Week 8 & creeping towards 5k. I don't think ill ever manage it in 30 mins but im determined to hit it regardless of how long it takes! 💪😁

Forget the 5k for now - most people don't run that far at the end of C25K!!! Slow it down as much as necessary to complete the 9 weeks. If you feel aches and pains are building and that you aren't fully recovering between runs then it may be worth taking two rest days rather than one. However, if it's more achey just while you're running that's OK - after all, look how long you're running for now - amazing isn't it?

I know, im astounded that im running at all, let alone for this amount of time AND enjoying it!!! I get pretty achy and stiff between runs but the benefits of doing it out ways the aches! I love the support on here too! Great to hear from people who have been on the journey already! Thank you 😊
