I graduated about three weeks ago, ran twice the following week, and haven't had any motivation to go since, resulting in 2 and a half weeks of no running. Where's my mojo gone? Anyone else find this?
Need some motivation: I graduated about three... - Couch to 5K
Need some motivation
It can be difficult after you complete the program, have you been over to the bridge to 10k forum ?
Take a look at the consolidation club for ideas .
Or you could download the Nike running club app for some guided runs if you want to still have a coach ,
Try and get out soon though! You don't want to waste all your effort and your achievement .
Good luck 👍
Find somewhere new and interesting to run? Although I have not yet graduated, I try to vary my routes to make them more interesting.
Definitely! I missed Laura whispering sweet nothings in my ear😂. I signed up to A 5k virtual sponsored run to motivate me to reach that 5k, then I signed up to 50k in August to keep me getting out there. I’ve done 47/50 so far. I definitely need some external motivation to get out there but once out I love it! I’ve just started using the C25K plus podcasts (stepping stones, speed and stamina) and have found them enjoyable and motivating. Nice to catch up with Laura again too 😂 MontyMooDog (on this site) has also started a weekly 5k on here too that I’ve committed to doing once a week if humanly possible. The Nike Run Club app also has a lots of guided runs to work your way through and then there is bridge to 10K 😲 again on this site. Not quite ready for that myself! Check in on the Consolidation Club too for inspiration and motivation. You can feel a bit lost when the plan is over so it’s good to make another, more personalised one, to move on to. Hope some of that helps 🤗
Have you read the guide to post C25k running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which has ideas.
