W2R1-slower is faster

So I have spent the the last 48hoursbetween a state of eager anticipation and utter dread, however I have just completed W2R1, almost with ease and covered just over 4K. How? I made a determined effort to run slowly, and low and behold (I can only assumme because I messed up starting my watch) that I ran more consistently, rather than starting fast and dying thereafter. I didn't feel like I would fall over and die any second, but rather just kept my pace and enjoyed the run. I am not saying that Jo saying I could now walk for 2 mins wasn't welcome, but I wasn't fighting to hang on until she did.

Fingers crossed that the progress persists. :-)

Nice one. Now you have found the secret. Run within yourself. If it gets tough back off the throttle. Slow is king. 😂😂😂👍

Woop woop! Great news! Agreed, I’m finding W2 more enjoyable than expected.

I like how the extra bit of running gives you time to find your rhythm. The storm cancelled my plan to head out for W1R3 tonight though, boooo.
