That’s it- Week 8 in the bag!!! Never thought I’d be the woman setting her alarm for a 6am run 😂 Thanks so much got all the support- I have given up many times before but this group really has inspired and kept me going.

My next run is week 9 run 1 and actually think I may be able to do this!! Only problem is we go away Friday morning which is due to be my run 2- we have to leave the house at 5am to catch the boat so do I get up at ridiculous time or just have a 2 day gap between run 1-3? I really can’t run any other time of day as get very bloated and sluggish so need to run on empty stomach first thing.

Any advice?

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.

After that loss of condition is gradual.

You'll be fine. In fact an extra rest day or two will probably do you good.

Same as me. I did W9r1 last Monday but then we went away so I didn't do r2 til Friday. It was a struggle but think more to to with too much food and 🍷!!!. Anyway, graduated today and carried on to 5k (37.22 mins). You will be fine. Good luck
