So, I now actually feel like a runner! No internal arguments like Week 6 run 3. Just popped my headphones in and waited for MJ to say go for it. Started my tracker when starting to run and stopped it when finished running. Gave me a distance of 4.03kms in 25 minutes. I know it’s slow but for the moment I’m just amazed I can actually run for 25 minutes, especially after being out of action for 2 weeks when tweaking my knee on the last run of week 5. Now when looking at the runs ahead it doesn’t feel anywhere near as daunting when I first started out. I can see the finishing post and am looking forward to powering through. I might even sign up for some park runs, never thought i’d ever be saying that!
