Well all I can say is that I managed to complete the run and cover 5.28km. However, it was excruciatingly hard to do, calf’s and Achilles’ tendons screaming! I was surprised by this as my last few runs have been up and down hills. Today, I travelled further afield to find a flat run along lanes. Despite this it seemed so much harder than the hilly runs! One more to go to graduate nonetheless.

Well done.

If you are running 5.28k in thirty minutes then you are going pretty fast.

Give yourself a break........... before something else breaks.........slow down.

I note what your saying. I think with hindsight I started off far too quickly. Probably because I was for the first time in 2 weeks running on the flat. My pace was eventually around 5.44/km. My final run I’m aiming for around 6/km.
