Hi. Graduated last week😀 Two consolidation Runs so far this week. I'm due to run next on Saturday. I really want to add an extra run in tomorrow and then run Sunday so that's 4 runs I'd like to start running 4 times a week. However, I've read about not aiming for more than 3 runs per week for a year after completing C25K. Is that right?

Occasionally you can get 4 in.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday..

I only started the odd back to back run after 2 years, if work or weather messed up plans.

Your running legs take a while to strengthen and develop, so the rest/ repair days are really important

Pleased you are loving the programme, but there's no rush 🤩

You can do as you wish but it is not advisable to run on consecutive days until you have an absolute minimum of six months regular running on your legs.

Like Jell6, I run every other day, so some times 4 a week the other week 3 times .... I’ve read what the admins say and have pretty much stuck to it ... I do know someone who tried to run every day and get the plan done quickly and let’s just say it didn’t go to well .. first couple of times loved the sense of achievement but then as the aches and pains started as their body wasn’t used to it, they lost motivation and quit.
