What a plod! Running with a Pilates legs 🦵

Today was the first time I’ve had to stop and walk for a couple of minutes at the half way mark. I do a fairly intense Pilates class on Tuesday evenings and my legs always feel a bit achy the next day. They felt like lead today! 🥵 Anyway I still managed to cover 5k and chalk up a few more km for my 50km Autumn Challenge. My coach Mr Frizzbomb kept telling me it didn’t matter about walking (bless him 😘) and he’s absolutely right. Walking was the only thing I could do 3 months ago but now it’s the exception to the rule. What a difference! 🏃‍♀️😊

All really well observed! Maybe you can change your schedule so you get a rest day after pilates. Walking for a bit truly doesn't matter. Lots of people deliberately adopt a run/wak method for long runs, or recovery runs, or even for all runs. Jeff Galloway (he of 'jeffing' fame) wouldn't have it any other way 😀
