Stuck at week6 run 1

So I was doing well with C25K but then stumbled and hurt my knee. Since then I’ve had rest and used knee support. Having researched my problem I think I was over pronating and bought insoles which also seem to help. Anyway I’ve now repeated W6R1 about 10 times and think I’m finally ready for R2. My question is if that goes okay should I go for it and try longer runs of stick to running with breaks? My knee is fine now as long as I wear the support.

If it goes well and you aren’t in pain try the longer runs, run gently run slow, speed will come when it’s ready, this isn’t a race and every run builds stamina

I'd definitely move up to w6r2! I've just completed w6r1 and found it hard but every run is different and I think w6r2 onwards are supposed to get slightly more doable (i.e. many people find w6r1 really tricky!!).

If your knee is fine in the intervals, it should also be alright with longer runs :)

I would move on if you've completed the run. Take it slowly and listen to your body. If you think you're overdoing it, stop. It's your couch to 5k - stay in control of it, don't let the schedule control you.
