Hills!

Hello my lovelies,

Where I run, in some ancient woods, it’s all hills! I’ve just finished Week 8, and am loving it, but have only managed just over 3k in 28 mins. Would I get much further on the flat? Or does going downhill compensate for the climbs? 😂. Just interested! Xxx

I love that hilly picture, I learnt to love hills at the start of this year. Hills definitely make you stronger and after a while you should notice flat runs coming faster although I now can find flat runs a bit boring as I miss the changes in slope🤣 happy running 🤗

Aw thanks! I may have to try along the seafront, which would be flat. Just a bit embarrassed to run where there are any other people, lol! Xx

People love to see runners especially if you smile and say hello🤗

Well done for hitting the hills before you graduate! Hills slow you down but, boy, will they make you fit. I ran just under 4k in 28 minutes, mostly on the flat. Three weeks after graduation I still find inclines difficult, and I'm not talking hills :)
