Back to it after a week off

So I was doing well, getting my consolation runs in and making some good progress.

Then the blisters hit 😭 I went and got some new trainers, properly fitted including gate analysis and bought over 6 different types of new socks. But I still got the worst blister on both feet.

So I’ve taken just over a week off, haven’t run since last Friday and I am going to try again tonight.

Anyone with any advice or final words of wisdom?

I’ve got the blister plasters ready, have been wearing my new trainers on walks and around the house so let’s hope they’ve softened up a bit 🤞

Hope your new trainer behave themselves! Good luck on your run later.

Blisters are usually a sign of excess movement inside the shoe, are you tying your laces firmly enough? 🙂
