Just finished the last run of week 7, so four consecutive runs of 25 minutes.
It is the first time in my life that I can honestly say I enjoyed running ... no toxic 10, no ‘omg when are you going to tell me I’m half way’ ... no gasping for breath!!!
I did the C25k about 7 years ago, & once completing it, I gave up running ... I was on a mission to finish, but can honestly say I hated every step.
Now, I’m two stone lighter, have given up smoking, swim regularly & have been doing (almost) daily yoga for three years ... I started the app again as I’m really intrigued by the ‘runners high’ that completely eluded me last time ... today I felt it! Oh yes!
I’m floating.
A brilliant programme, a brilliant support group.
