This is a post for all you beautiful people starting out on your C25K journey. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other π
This time last year I was starting Week 3 Run 1 π and I was full of worry and self doubt π€
One year later and with huge thanks to everyone on this forum I have not only run 5k (every time I run) , I have run 10k (90% of the time I run) I have run 4 x Half Marathons & 1 x Full Marathon and I am proud to say I do feel like a proper runner! π
I don't worry about what people think, I wear what I like and feel comfortable in, I say hello to other runners & cyclists, I am grateful to each and everyone of you who got me to where I am now!
Excellent year for you since you started C25K, congratulations on all your runs, any idea how many kilometers you have ran since graduating from C25K, must be well over a thousand, once again congratulations on completing your one year runniversary.
Amazing happy anniversary. Well done for keeping it up and running as far as you have, I am taking huge inspiration from you. I am 2 runs from the end of the plan, but not quite at the 5k yet. I plan to keep running and will hit 5k and maybe 10 in the future ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈ
Congratulations! Iβm pleased that you feel like a proper runner after all those achievements, if you didnβt I dread to think what it would take π€£
I think you, AlMorr and Buddy34 were amongst the first to comment on my first ever post! So a huge thank you goes out to you all! You guys got me here! xxx
Congratulations AliHC on your 1 year runniversary. You've achieved so much you really have. The plan and the forums are amazing πββοΈπββοΈππππ
Thank you so much for this inspiration ! I have read your first one, and it was well timed, as I have w3r1 tomorrow, and the ONLY people who know I am doing any running are you people on here - I daren't mention it to anyone else! I am a walker, but I have always said I wouldn't dream of running - I started because on my early morning walks during lockdown I was seeing people who were clearly less fit than me who were out there running and not caring what people thought. They made me feel like a real wimp - so I signed up and found this wonderful forum. Perhaps by the end of week 3 I might feel able to "admit" I am doing it!
Thank you again - you have made me feel that I really will be able to get there!
That's amazing in just a year! I'm starting week 3 tomorrow and will be thinking about this post when I'm getting tired or thinking about skipping a day!
