Hi all

I’m attempting C25k for the third time now. But I get awful pain in my shins afterwards. I’ve had my gait analysed, bought compression socks but nothing seems to work. Any tips?

Welcome back to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Well, we are not experts but... there are things which may help, including building up your strength in your legs and your body...sometimes just starting running, if you are not doing regular exercise can be an issue?

So some really good exercises to build everything up, including those leg muscles could be the way. There are loads of links on the Strength and Flex forum :)
