Morning all, bit late to the party I lnow but I've just discovered this forum via a link in the "weight loss" forum. Did W6R3 last night, 25 mins non stop, longest I have run (huffed, puffed and partially collapsed) since cross country in PE at school 40 years ago!
As someone unused to physical effort, and who hated PE lessons at school (I was always the fat boy with glasses who was always last back from cross country and last to be picked for every team ever) it's a constant surprise to me what I'm capable of doing, and at the ripe old age of 55 too.
No point to this really, other than to introduce myself and hopefully pick up some tips for my last 3 weeks and more to the point to keep me going when I reach the end of the programme.

Hi I've only just joined the forum too, & like you suffered with weight growing up! I've lost the weight now but determined to get fitter & we can do this! I'm only on D2w2 so early to say but enjoying it so far! 😁🏃although my 'runs' are more like jogs at the moment... Its a start!
Hi and well done. I’ve just done wk7 run 1 today and made sure that I slowed down and kept my breathing under control. It was great to realise that I can run for 25 minutes and the last run wasn’t just a fluke. You’ve got this. See you in week 8 😄
