Hi All, this is my first time posting, didn’t realise this was here. So I started couch to 5k at the start of lockdown a challenge for myself as a complete non runner. I’ve always claimed I couldn’t run, no way, ever! But here I am on week 9 session 2 and I’m running for 30mins and doing 5k!!! I just cannot believe it. Each time I announce ‘I’m going out for my run’ get a funny feeling, a surge of pride I guess and the reassurance that I can legitimately buy exercise clothes without feeling a fraud! Week 1 session 1 I was wearing 3/4 length denim -totally clueless. I now have leggings and a top 😁 All those starting out, this is completely doable and is the best way, slowly but surely. You’ll soon be thinking ‘i think I can do more than I’m being asked’ that’s a good sign that you’re getting fitter. Keep with it.
Well done me and well done everyone-aren’t we clever! 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️👏🏻👏🏻
