Thanks for your comments everyone, i feel much better now!

So i completed c25k some months ago on a treadmill at the gym. Since Lockdown ive done lots of long walks but only very short eg 10 min runs. My daughter is now home from uni and yesterday we went for a run together. I was very anxious about slowing her down. Anyway to cut a long story short we ran fir 25 mins, covered 3.7k and with each km being sub 7 mins thats the best ive ever run! Still don't think of myself as a runner though !

My daughter comes with me - she’s a good pacesetter. Bit slower than her usual pace but it’s good to get out with her!

And yes you are a runner!!

You are a runner, that pace you set with your daughter proves that, when doing C25K you became officially a runner at the end of week 6.

Of course you are a runner.

If you run with other people then it is only sensible for everyone to run at the comfortable pace of the slowest.

It is great torun with family.
