Run 5 post graduation...bit deflated ☹️

Has anyone else struggled post graduation with some of the consolidation runs? I was so happy to have graduated and just done by 5th consolidation run and was rubbish 😂 I struggled to run for 25 mins and feel pretty deflated. Perhaps I need another new target...any tips or similar experiences? Thanks!

I was exactly the same!! For my first one that was fine, but the second was awful!!!!! Just did another in this much cooler weather and it felt a lot better. I love the nike run app guided runs- the time flies by as they give you lots of running tips and are very encouraging. I did the ‘first long run’ 35 minuter earlier and I am sure you would enjoy it. 😀

Keep going! I'm attempting 3 x 30 mins consolidation runs this week and that, for me, is a GOAL, as I didn't actually complete Week 9 of C25K within a calendar week. So good to set yourself small goals like that each week if possible. There's also a very good May Consolidation Club post where roseabi suggests a plan for increasing the third run and I'm going to move on to that when I feel ready and try the C25K+ podcasts. I am not particularly increasing my distance at all much at the moment but trying not to worry about it and just get through the 30 mins several times.
