I am one run behind you, did W7R1 this morning, started off slow, found my pace after about 5mins, somehow lost Sarah Millican after the first 5min update and didn’t hear her again until she was congratulating me for completing the run and warm down walk, oooopppps I was still running🤭😆
At the moment we are trying to build our stamina, speed can come later, hopefully🤞🤞🤞🤞
I don’t think I am running too fast I have a fairly good rhythm and feel it would actually be more tiring to run slower.
This morning run 3 was better, I should trust myself and the programme a bit more. I changed my route slightly today to start running before I usually do this meant I finished about 300m short of where I have been, but that is 300m or steady incline. It helped but also my legs felt good and I could have made the climb today without struggling too much.
W7R2 for me this morning- I spent most of it thinking about how great it would feel to just walk!! I have slowed right down compared to other weeks (which I actually find really difficult), by the time I got to the last few minutes and the end was in sight I was able to speed up. So, I guess maybe try saving as much as you can for the last bit?
Having said that, every week I’ve struggled to believe that I’ll manage the next one, but somehow I have...so far...
