Shin Splints - any tips so I can keep running?

I’ve just finished W5R2.

This is the third week I have attempted W5 due to suffering with shin splints. I have been resting in the hope they will get better but still no luck.

I’m used to being on a treadmill and have not previously suffered with this.

Does anyone have any tips that will so that I can keep going?

Hi Hidden ...this sounds like pain to me..luckily I have never suffered with shin splints but many many people on here have so hopefully you will get some positive responses to your post. Having the right fitting trainers can definitely help, I know at the moment having a gait analysis is not an option but as soon as it is I would seriously think about it, if you haven't had one already. Good luck and try not to be disheartened about it, I'm sure you'll get some advice on here that will help x
