Taking a back seat for a while

Hi I am taking a back seat for a while, I had done week 6 run 3 with some difficulty, I keep getting strained or pulled calf muscles so will start walking and cycling more for now and begin again in a week or 2.

I would like to say that in this time of lockdown it is the cleaners that are making places of work safe environments to carry out our day to day business and helping to stop the spread of infection they need praise to, by doing this they are also saving lives, but we just don’t see it.

That's not a bad idea.

Cycling can build muscle tone without the impact stresses of running.

Stretching immediately after every run or cycle ride, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.

Hope to see you back soon.
