My name Siobhan and I have just finished the 1st run of the second week. I thought the run was hard but not too hard. That until the next day when i went to stand up and had a sharp pain in my left foot. Had to cancel tonight run 😭. But will pick up in the next couple of days.
Hope everyone has a good run

Congratulations Siobhan on completing week 1 and run 1 of the second week, sorry about the sharp pain in your left foot, don't run until the pain has completely gone, once you do start again, go very carefully to begin with, just to make sure that the pain does not return.
Well done for getting started. It's ok to run with a few aches and niggles, but not okay to run through pain, or to take painkillers just to enable you to run. Rest up until it feels better, then take it slowly. Check out YouTube for good running technique and maybe consider a gait analysis and new running shoes - although that's quite a big financial investment at this stage.
