Hi i hope you can help me. I have been following this group and managed the 5k before Xmas. Last week I came back from a steady run and was fine. Late in the day my knee was making a clicking sound and I felt like popping under my knee cap. Also I feel like I have a tight band around my knee and pain at the back of my thigh. I have been taking anti inflammatory tabs and just steady walking since. Any advice on what to do to get rid of this would be more than appreciated 😥

Rest is always a good cure.
Clicking of knees is not symptomatic of anything particularly worrying.
Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
A similar thing happened to me during W7. Saw a sports physio as soon as I could, best thing I ever did, she worked wonders. Graduated a couple of weeks ago and keeping up with 30 min runs throughout the week, don’t think I would be doing this without her. Hope you’re up and running again soon 🤞🏼
