It was a glorious day today, the sun was shining and I was feeling enthusiastic to get out there ... until I stepped out the door. Damn but that wind was chilly! Pressed on regardless and today I had some company as I persuaded my youngest daughter to come with me. She wasn't entirely enthusiastic to leave the couch and a warm blanket but she enjoyed it once we got going and handled the pace just fine.
I slowed it down a bit today and found the run much more enjoyable and a lot less tiring than the first one. But if this weather is going to continue like this I'm going to need to look into getting something to cover my ears!

Well done for getting out there and well done for encouraging your daughter to join you. Yes, it is bloomin' cold at the moment isn't it? I set out wearing a running beanie hat & gloves. These can be easily removed & re-fitted (more easily during the walking sections) as required, I just stash them in my jacket pockets when I don't need them. A lot of people on here wear a muff over their ears which I suppose would have the added advantages of holding your earphones in and allowing the excess steam out of the top of your head. Whatever works best for you is the way to go, good luck wit Run 3.
