I run with a GPS tracker. I start tracking when o start the warm up walk and stop at the ends of the warm down walk. Today was 4.12km total. Is it ethical to claim that or should i only count the distance once i start running?

There is nothing unethical about tracking your combined intervals..........but it would be unethical to claim you ran for 4.12k.

If you want to track overall duration/distance......then measure it all.

If you want to know how far you ran........just measure the running.

I do the same, I’ve never really questioned it 🤔
