Saturdays short run

I'm taking my grandkids for their 9am swimming lesson that Mrs LeeU and I got them for Christmas, so I had to do a shorter run this morning.

I opted for a 15-20 minute run at 7kph, another 0.5kph up from my last run and another step on seeing what my ankle would take. Arms aching from the gym yesterday.

Warm up walk over, straight up to 7kph, nice and steady, breathing deep and steady, heartrate slowly climbing.

Again, I got a little bit of aching from the ankle, changed my running position but leaning forward a little and it was ok.

20 minutes done, will look to possibly push it out to 25 minutes on Monday, see how it goes.

Happy running everyone.

👍The shorter run was best for the ankle!

Take care of it!! What a super gift to encourage the grandchildren into healthy activities 😊

They have enough toys and swimming is a life skill we"d much rather them have.

Plus it means we can all go swimming since we are all members of the same gym now.
