Thought this was going to be really hard as I found my last run last week harder than the second but I did it! It was no harder than my first run last week was. I even ventured out to my local park today rather than running around in circles around my estate. Other than getting to the other side of a rather large lake just as the heavens opened and arriving back at my car soaked to the bone (didn’t seem worth turning around at that point as I was almost half way through and already pretty wet) it was relatively enjoyable.

Now for some advice- I know the rest days are important and I didn’t think I’d even be considering this but here goes: has anyone without taking the rest day as a one-off at all?

I should have gone yesterday but got soaked walking back from the station last night and didn’t see the sense in putting dry clothes on to get wet again so postponed until today but a change of shift pattern means I now can’t run on Thursday and Friday seems like ages away plus I wouldn’t be able to run until Sunday which would throw me out for next week.

Trying to fit in runs with your work schedule can be difficult at times, but you must never as a new runner when doing C25K run on consecutive days, no running on two day in a row, otherwise you could get injured, there was a runner the other day reportrd running one of the weeks of C25K at four o'clock in the morning, bit extreme to say the least, but I think some where in your week you could get a run fitted in with your busy schedule.

I agree with the higher risk of injury. Also, you might find it a bit disheartening. You're muscles won't have had chance to recover and may not respond the way you'd like them to.
