Good afternoon, community. May I seek your opinion on the elastic lacing of my running shoes, please? They were recommended to be 'slip on and run.' Although sceptical, having tried both with and without laces, I found this way so much better- comfortable, supportive. Now I wonder whether this could be at the root of my plantar fasciitis? Only in one foot, though and that's steadily improving.

Does anyone else use these?

Sorry not come across these. I find laces have to be offering support but not so they feel tight (otherwise my foot cramps)

Thanks, Slothgoesrunning (top marks for name), they do exactly that. Think I'm just desperate to find a quicker way out of the Plantar Fasciitis than is possible!!

Have you tried the rolling pin or bottle under your foot ?

Thanks, but I've found the tennis balls rolled underneath works better for me. Plus specific exercises a few times daily and ibuprofen.
