Don’t stress about the rest days

At least, in the later stages. I used to get anxious about being able to move on if I’d had more than 2 rest days. Today I decided to go for W8R3 even though I hadn’t run since last Saturday. I did it no bother! It’s amazing that my fitness has remained steady for a week. Mind you, I walked and played a game of badminton during the week.

Great even having 7 days between your runs it still works 😊

I started off doing every other day without fail. Now I'm finding three or even four rest days are fine. Although I still do at least 30 minutes brisk dog walking on those rest days which probably helps. Ziggy my pooch keeps me active but he won't run. Too interested in stopping and sniffing!

I stress a lot about things (less so since starting C25K 😃) so I was stressing about scheduling my next run, worrying in case I couldn’t fit it in within the 2 days. Now I’m so much more relaxed about it and enjoying the programme far more.
