Been struggling with Achilles pain so gave myself a bit of a break and not run since this time last week. Surprised at how much I missed it and was itching to get out tonight. Limited myself to a slow steady 20 mins just to monitor response, felt like could have carried on no problem which was a great feeling and made me realise how my fitness has improved! Made myself stop though to test tendon out, hopefully just a blip.
So important to respect and listen to your body if there are niggles, no shame in giving yourself a break now and then!
