Just finished week 2 sitting outside post run feeling so calm.
It’s amazing the lift running can give you, especially so early on..
My only worry is hoping I stick at it- I have a busy job in hospital working 10 hour shifts and come home mentally exhausted... luckily as my shifts are long it’s mostly 4 days a week so I can run on my off day and one day at the weekend- then do clubbersize one evening... so although may take me longer to complete the course probably more likely to stick at it by not exhausting self.
Sorry for the rambling maybe I should have done this over 2 posts... but what’s probably hindering my progress is I stress eat- when work is stressful (most days) I head for the biscuit tin... really need to stop this any advice?

Well done , and your are right running does give you a calming effect on your mind as well as your body. As for the biscuit tin you just need to walk past it 😂 I know it's not easy but I use to have a chocolate addiction 😂 and for over a year now I just don't look for it any more. Look at the willpower you have to keep running and exercising it's the same to keep away from the biscuit tin. Good luck 😊😊
Use the biscuit tin to collect the money you would have spent on biscuits to fund this wonderful running habit
Sassy leggings, funky tops etc etc.. a treat at the Physio's for a deep sports massage Maybe not.. it is great, but ouch!
Run to lose the stress.. run and let it float away behind you.. run to leave the cares of the day to disappear into the wind.. and think how healthy and happy and really awesome you will become
