Hello again from week 6r2. Since I started the C25K I am doing 20 minutes planks and lower legs strengthening exercises the other days of running. And I wonder if I should do the strengthening the same day with the running in order to leave a day completely rest between runs.

Hi there, I’ve recently graduated and I am now thinking of strengthening exercises too. I would appreciate any links you have to share. I want to work on arms, core and ankles.
I have read so far that you should do the strengthening exercises on the rest days, then it’s like cross training and better for the body.
On run days I simply do pre stretching (dynamic) and post stretching (static).
Hope this helps and pleased someone else has posted about strengthening as it’s been on my mind.
